The version to which I subscribe is that when a mother Kangaskhan dies, the baby falls to the ground a Cubone and begins a new life path. If the Kangaskhan lives, the baby remains a Kangaskhan. Cubone overcomes trauma = evolves into Kangaskhan. Cubone gives into despair = evolves into Marowak.

Oct 31, 2013 · Whether baby Kangaskhan or not, not sure of cubones face...Marowak on the other hand, I believe in evolution the skull fuses to its face, making that basically it's face. Removing it would basically be removing its face.
