So, who are set to be the Maître D' and sous chefs for season 21?
Sep 3, 2022 · Back on March 6th of this year, several people posted on their social media a photo of Marino, Christina, Gordon, and Jay in the center of the red and blue kitchens for Hell's Kitchen. Here is where Jay posted that on his Instagram. In his caption he says:

Dec 31, 2020 · It's Marino but GR does pronounce it Maurinnnooooo its been a long standing joke since Marino showed up S13. The contestants bring nothing with them for signature dish. All ingredients are provided by the show. And yes, there are ingredients that GR will crucify a chef for using in a dish that is supposed to impress him.

What does Marino say when Gordon tells him to open HK?
As others have stated, Marino says 'subito,' which is the Italian way of saying 'right away.' I have also heard him answer 'con piacere' on at least one or two occasions, which means 'with pleasure.' Reply reply

But when S13 started and the new Maître d, Marino Monferrato, showed up, somebody soon realized he'd been briefly seen on the show before! So its possible that JP came back "temporarily," to hold down the Maître d position in a post-James world until they found a new permanent Maître d in Marino.
