The Marine Corps issue FILBE backpack system has a more conventional internal frame with a large quantity of structural back padding and support. The shoulder and heavy duty waist belt/kidney pad are adjustable to almost any size.

The USMC Rucksack is intended to be combined with a matching frame, shoulder harness assembly and hip belt. Together they make the complete backpack used by Marines to haul up to an incredible 125 lbs. of gear in the field.
