MELAKA: A hotelier is continuing his tradition of organising charitable events to spread kindness during the holy month of Ramadan. Bayou Lagoon Park Resort CEO Datuk Marco Seow said the initiative of spreading compassion and empathy was initiated by his late father, Datuk Seow Cho Thoy, when the hotel started its operations back in 2012.

Seow, 63, who is the chairman of Harp Soon Corp, is grooming Marco to take over the business. “Since I was young, I have been following my father to project sites and that is how the interest started,” comments Marco, who is the company’s executive director.
