All in all, having both the Mantis X10 (I got on sale for $200), and the Blackbeard X (I got discount to get for $300), in my mind, was worth every penny. The distinction between the two platforms is fantastic.

Mar 15, 2021 · I was just wondering about the reliability. I have seen a few mixed reviews, but mantis gives a 2 year warranty. I love the idea of being able to dry fire and have trigger reset. I don’t do any of the laser training, so I would probably purchase the model without the laser

Apr 20, 2023 · I pull my BCG, drop in the Mantis “BCG”, and it immediately starts a continuous cycle of trying to reset the trigger when I insert the battery pack. If that’s not bad enough, even if I pull the battery, my 2 stage Triggertech Diamond won’t break. Works fine with a regular BCG, but not with the Mantis “BCG”. V-Seven matched billet set.
