Manohar Lal Khattar (born 5 May 1954) is an Indian politician serving as the Minister of Power and Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs in the central Modi government since June 2024. He is a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party and served as the 10th Chief Minister of Haryana from 26 October 2014 till his resignation on 12 March 2024.

Manohar Gopalkrishna Prabhu Parrikar (13 December 1955 – 17 March 2019) was an Indian politician and leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party who was the Chief Minister of Goa for three terms. [1][2] He also served as the Minister of Defence from October 2014 to March 2017. In January 2020, he was posthumously awarded the Padma Bhushan.

In 2023, Khattar received a lot of criticism for calling a Punjab and Haryana High Court judge mentally unstable during a public meeting. He gave the statement while discussing the court's judgement of stopping the recruitment of constables for around 2000 vacancies as a result of reported corruption in the recruitment process. Khattar said,
