Mangaldoi; also spelt Mangaldai, Assamese pronunciation: [mɔŋɔldoɪ], is a town in the state of Assam, India. It serves as the administrative headquarter of Darrang district. It's named after Mangaldahi, who was the daughter of the Raja of Darrang.

Mangaldoi was a former Lok Sabha constituency in the Indian state of Assam. After the delimitation, the constituency's area changed, and the name was changed to Darrang–Udalguri. [1]
