Just a quick drabble/headcanon about Makorra and Tahno. Expressed frustration with Mako's behavior lately.

Headcanon rambles under the cut: Keep reading. I know Makorra Week is over but I totally just thought of a buried feelings blurb–. Mako and his girlfriend go on a double date with Asami and Korra. The gf and Asami immediately hit it off, because they came from similar backgrounds and liked finer things.

In this headcanon he gets his canon burn scar from a bomber before coming back from this tour, which makes him be medically discharged from the military. But he keeps his detective job! Just letting you know because I don't think I'll be adding to them again any time soon.

Jan 5, 2019 · OP it's shipping, of course it's fine to prefer Makorra over Korrasami. Many others still do as well. That said, Korrasami is canon whether you like it or not, think it's a good relationship or bad.

Jul 12, 2018 · Or Korra acting like all meek and submissive which I've seen in both Korrasami and Makorra.fan art. I've always thought that Korra and Asami had an almost sisterly friendship akin to the dynamic between Katara and Toph. The personalities certainly fit; Korra is headstrong like Toph, and Asami has Katara's caring nature.
