Jun 7, 2009 · The 400 AW is a great bike. Like any used bike, check the swingarm, steering, and wheel bearings. Also make sure there is no heavy pitting or rust on the pit tubes.

Dec 6, 2016 · I have an opportunity to obtain a 1976 Maico AW 1976 model. I would prefer a 1977. I just want to know what the differences are between the two models. I know the engine numbers are the same and the frame numbers are different. Are there any other major changes. Suspension etc etc.

Dec 7, 2018 · The current owner of this 1977 Maico MC400 AW (VIN: 3263052) had a nut and bolt restoration completed by SoCal Maico. Oil has not yet graced the crankcase of this machine, but it is ready to run in vintage motocross with spares included.
