Mahesh Acharya (Nepali: महेश आचार्य) was the minister of Forest and Soil Conservation of Nepal under the government led by Sushil Koirala. [1] Acharya won the Morang–6 seat in Nepalese Constituent Assembly election, 2013 from the Nepali Congress.

I begin my appointment as an Instructional Assistant Professor of Political Science in August 2024. I teach introductory and advanced-level undergraduate courses on International Relations, Comparative Politics, and Foreign Policy.

My research and teaching interests mainly encompass behavioral political science, comparative politics, international relations, foreign policy, and computational social science. My recent research projects center on the psychological characteristics of global leaders and the insights those attributes can offer into their policy actions.
