ARMOR lets you visualize the invisible. With MACE and ARMOR, you can visualize radar beam and scan patterns, jamming corridors, 3D radar cross-sections, route vulnerability analysis and line of sight coverage – all of which are critical to planning against a sophisticated adversary.

MACE is a Simulation Framework that includes a plug-in architecture allowing any software developer to add or modify features and capabilities. It also enables non-developer users to extend the MACE order of battle, including not only new platforms and weapons, but also movement and emitter models.

ARMOR (Augmented Reality Mission Observation and Rehearsal) is a free Unity-based 3D viewer for MACE. You can download ARMOR from directly from https://downloads.bssim.com/file/d/ARMOR/. Note that when downloading the ARMOR installer, you will need to download the .exe and all associated .bin file (highlighted below).

Open to all MACE users, please join us at the MACE Users Group (MUG) meeting where we will be demonstrating and training the latest capabilities of MACE, showcasing our 3D visualization in ARMOR, along with several commercial image generators, and discussing the MACE/ARMOR road map for 2024 and beyond.

Jan 16, 2025 · ARMOR is a CIGI based image generator and can be used with or without MACE by any application that supports the CIGI 4.0 protocol. ARMOR can run on the same PC as MACE (and every full MACE ships with a copy of ARMOR that can do this at no extra charge) or as a standalone image generator on networked PCs.
