Sep 11, 2020 · one, your mac pro is too darn old and slow, you’d have to make sure it meets the windows minimum hardware requirements. You can’t really and it’s not worth upgrading a 1.1 mac pro. Period. Maybe wipe it, de-authorize it and sell it for parts or give it away for free.

Jul 23, 2007 · Mac Pro 2,1 series are the newer models with 8-cores whereas the Mac Pro 1,1 models only have 4-cores (not expandable.) Essentially the first number in a Machine ID refers to the revision series. The second number refers to the generation within that series.
