Apr 4, 2009 · Does anyone know anything about the Koni Orange street series shocks, or even the red standard shocks? How do they compare to Bilsteins? I had the GR2's on my old Altima years back and I think they were OK as a stock replacement. This is my DD and in no way shape or form is it a performance car, its a Honda Civic!

Mar 8, 2010 · The GR2s are an excellent shock, I had them on my 90 for probably 80-90K miles and they still felt like new when I took them off. Most will tell you that it's a terrible idea and that it will create a nuclear explosion and a glitch in the matrix but it won't.

Have been able to drive it in all weather conditions so far even during a blizzard last week where we got 12” of fresh snow (1” per hour snowfall). Gas mileage is ok, better than what I expected.

Jan 3, 2012 · I've replaced OEM dampers in 2 different Toyotas with both Excel-G and GR-2 variants and they are worlds apart in their damping capabilities. The GR-2 is a MUCH stiffer unit, at least in those two cars. The dampers might be the same in some cars, but not all.
