The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) today announced service details for the upcoming July 4 holiday weekend. The Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), Metro-North Railroad, and Staten Island Railway will supplement early Friday afternoon service with additional trains to help New Yorkers get an early start on the three-day weekend.
