May 17, 2023 · I tried some GitHub link for a MS45 flasher. I wasn't flashing anything I was just trying to use it to read the DME ident, didn't seem to work. My OBD scanner connects and reads the codes just fine, Inpa just won't.

Feb 4, 2019 · Releasing my MS45 flashing app. Uses Ediabaslib for communications. If you have a functional INPA install, you shouldn't have to mess with anything else. If you don't have ediabas installed, you'll need to grab a copy of ms450ds0.prg and make a couple edits to the config file.

Jan 28, 2024 · Know that INPA is a script-driven program, so each displayed screen may have different content, language, options, etc. For example, most MS45.1 screens are only German. We use Google Translate for that and it works well. Also use BMW Fault Code Lookup for looking up English fault code descriptions.

Tool to read and flash the MS45 DME. Can read/write full and partial binaries from the MS45.0 and MS45.1. It will automatically correct checksums and sign files that are flashed to the DME. This application uses .Net Framework 4.5.2. Any INPA-compatible OBDII cable should work with this application. Make sure your cable latency is set to 1ms.

Unfortunately, MS45 with INPA does not show data of the Nernst resistance of the probes, but all possible symptoms say – in this case, the heating element of the probe is damaged, and the only solution is to replace the probe.
