Jan 23, 2023 · I know they can leak, but I would pick t-tops for sure. It doesn't ruin the lines of the original car like a convertible typically would. In addition, with the t-tops you have 3 options: Drive with them off for open air driving

Jan 17, 2011 · Most leaks I've seen come from the weatherstrip on the T-top due to depressed rubber and/or blocked drains. How do you adjust the window? My tops were leaking so I bought the eccentric guides, but they still leak just a tiny bit now.

Flex from the t-top area from excessive mileage on your chassis OR previous accident history could have tweaked the t-top opening on your car preventing a complete seal. You WILL need a Factory Service Manual to use as a guide to install these weatherstripping.

Oct 3, 2011 · 1/ prep rubber weather strip with some alcohol based cleaner. 2/ apply a film of black silicone sealer to the corners of strip. 3/ place a piece of "Cling Free' over wet silicone.

Mar 28, 2004 · T-tops are Half Inch Thick Glass with metal locking mechanizm built in. They weigh I guess around 15 lbs or more. The frame in the body around the T-tops is also heavier.

Give these eccentric t-top guides a try before replacing expensive weather stripping. By offsetting the hole in the guide, you pull the top down tighter against the seals - this may stop your t-top leak. Includes (2) eccentric guides which is enough to do ONE T-Top panel.
