Jan 3, 2025 · Missouri Pacific GP7 323 was built as the 4257 in March 1953. It was originally a freight unit with a 1600-gallon fuel tank, but in the early 1960’s it was one of 15 freight geeps modified with a steam generator, a 2500-gallon fuel and water tank, and hood-mounted air tanks.

Feb 24, 2025 · MP GP7 1785 : Description: This GP7 was originally numbered 4324 and it was equipped for passenger service, so it was built with "torpedo boat" air reservoirs. It was subsequently renumbered 335 and then 1785, and along the way it received a factory low nose and a snow plow.

MoPac Bicentennial GP7 #1776 - was built in April 1950 as C&EI High Hood GP7 #212. It was later renumbered to C&EI #77. The unit was rebuilt with a new 2500 gallon fuel tank, and had the nose chopped and emerged as C&EI #84. It later became the MP Bicentennial #1776.
