Dec 21, 2020 · An mmo mouse is a better investment if you're in the latter category. The Naga/G600 are good choices. If you find the 12 buttons on the side to be too much, the G604 is another option. It has 6 on the side, 2 on the top next to left click, middle mouse click, and middle mouse left & right, for a total of 11 buttons.

Aug 17, 2020 · I have had my MMO mouse setup the same way since my very first one over 10 years ago. 1-12 buttons all assigned to the numberpad, and then the modifier button on my mouse itself is just an extra CTRL, so I can also do CTRL + NUM X.

Jan 8, 2021 · The mouse has to have on board memory. Not all of them have sadly. The way it works is you program the mouse on your PC and map all the different buttons to different keyboard keys. All of that is then saved on the mouse itself so that when you for example press button 5 it outputs as the letter y for example.
