The only things that would keep me from buying one right away are a mild interest to see if there really will be a Mk8 Golf R Plus, although the odds of it having an available manual are probably zero. Plus the initial lack of aftermarket products, but the market will undoubtedly catch up quickly.

Apr 17, 2024 · On paper it seems like the mk8 GTIs have improved with HP and torque, and the autobahn seems to now have a lot of the same features of the previous Golf R ( Digital cockpit, auto-dimming mirror, DCC, ACC, ambient lighting, multi-zone climate). The autobahn also has vented seats which definitely sounds awesome.
