Maybe we’ll have the sidekick be a faster firing pistol (like Halo 2), then an M6 series Magnum as a heavier pistol? I hope we get the iconic magnum design instead of (or at least alongside) this relatively generic modern pistol.

Jul 31, 2021 · I’m loving the sidekick at the moment but I do have one wish. Extend the magazine count from 12 to 14. It’s a 7-to-the-head kill, and I feel it would be rewarding to have the ability to take out two Spartans before reloading.

Aug 2, 2021 · it definitely isn’t imo the bloom reduces it from being good at anything past mid range (even that’s pushing it), it takes seven rounds to kill which with 12 in a mag total means you can only kill one target from max health, and at least on console the aim assist is practically negligible which means accurate shot placement only happens when the Sidekick is in the hands of a good player.

Sep 30, 2020 · It’s just not cool. Halo 2 had the only other non magnum looking design and it sucked ass. This gun IS NOT A MAGNUM.. going by your logic that changes don’t matter there would be no problem with halo infinite being a halo 5 clone. Changes do matter but in the right spots. The sidekick looks like a normal 2020 handgun that fires normal rounds.

Sep 19, 2022 · The Sidekick's grip looks reminiscent of a VP9 the magazine release is positioned just like a Glock it's magazine floor plate looks like a Glock +1 floor plate the back of the slide and body look like an FN 5.7 And that's just to name a few. The Sidekick looks like a very good mix of modern and modern-ish full size service pistols.
