Nov 18, 2020 · My buddy just swapped the Mk18 RIS II for a Geissele Mk 1. He ended up having issues when trying to mount a suppressor on his SF 3-prong flash hider, due to the Mk1 being slightly longer. His solution was to swap that hider for a SF closed-tine warcomp, because it extends further forward by about 1/4”.

Nov 12, 2015 · Both of my Airsoft M4's have MK18 and RIS II rails on them and and neither have Helicoil inserts. Plus the Madbull one is marked "Airsoft Only" on the inside of the rail although it has all the real markings but they are REALLY wire laser engraved.

In some pictures of the FDE it looks like a "magpul" fde, and in others it looks more like a burnt bronze.
