If I were in your shoes, and already had the handguard and gas block, I'd absolutely 'settle' for the SR25 Cartel upper and an aftermarket barrel.

Mar 21, 2003 · Same base gun The Mk11 is a complete package while (for all intensive purposes) the SR-25 LW Match is the base rifle without the accessories. If you are not planning on getting the suppressor you don't need the mod'd gas block of the Mk11. The other accesories bring the package price up a great deal as well

Aug 6, 2016 · But I'm a quadrail fan and am not too attached to KAC's current offerings. I'd prefer something similar to a MK11 or MK110 w/the quadrail, fixed stock, etc. without actually picking up one of the over-run rifles that command $14-30k. I'm not too familiar with KAC's past lineup.

Feb 2, 2012 · the Mk11/m110 is a great gun but its high price tag is one of the reasons that many people go with a 308 AR rather than a knights, 4000 to 5000 dollars is a lot of money for a base rifle with no ammo or optics. for the same price as an sr25, you can get a 308 AR with optics, ammo, and enough left over for a long range shooting class.

Superb quality and these are incredible receivers and a great way to build a semi auto 7.62 or 6.5 Creedmoor gasser without building a LR308 pattern gun, and having a more “gucci” build. Build yourself a mil spec and mil compatible SR25.
