Mar 21, 2023 · I was talking to Osage County Guns about purchasing a Spear LT 5.56/300BLK Bolt for a caliber conversion and they told me the MCX Virtus bolt is the same. He said they must have the tapered lugs and the part number will end in “TAP”.

SIG SAUER TANGO6T 1-6x24mm Rifle Scope SOT61231 2. EOTech Vudu 1-10x28mm Rifle Scope, 34mm VDU1-10FFSR4TAN 3. Nightforce ATACR 1-8x24mm I also want to make sure the optic color matches the rifle nicely.

Sig has actually shown their desire to develop and support the platform and at this point, The MCX platform is far ahead of the Scar in development. When I got home I noticed that the handgaurd/barrel was mis-aligned, and that I could move the handguard easily with just a little pressure. This sent me down a rabbit hole where I have been learning all about the "barrel wobble" and handguard instability issues, etc.

Ideally I would like the iron sights to be luminous and visible at night since I might keep the Spear as a home defense firearm.

I understand that I'll need to file a Form 1 for this. I want to get the stock that comes with the SBR versions of this rifle, I’m having trouble identifying the exact model.
Sig MCX Spear LT suppressor compatible handguard questions
Jan 22, 2024 · Here is a picture of my spear lt 9” 300 blackout with the sig MCX SD 12” hand guard and Q half Nelson direct thread suppressor. The sd hand guard does not come with the retention screws that the oem spear comes with. I added the Arisaka zero retention setup as shown in the picture and it holds zero and doesn’t move in any way whatsoever.

MCX Spear LT trigger - Geissele's response? > Sig Rifles - AR15.COM
Nov 8, 2023 · Geissele website says to use the MCX SSA in the MCX to avoid voiding the warranty but I have heard numerous times the Spear LT can accept regular AR15 triggers. Biggest diff from the photos is their MCX SSA has this bracket surrounding the trigger piece. If the AR15 version works with the Spear Lt why are they selling a MCX specific kit?
