Sep 24, 2024 · The Mother and Child Protection (MCP) card is a card used to track the health and nutrition of mothers and children from conception to age three. It is used by community health workers and is available in most government health institutions and Anganwadi centers.

Since 2010 the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) have been using a common MCP Card. As you know, several new schemes have been launched by the Government of India for ensuring improved well-being of pregnant woman, mothers and children.
