The availability and location of general admission (GA) seating at the MCG is determined on a match-by-match basis. GA seating locations vary from match to match. For high demand matches, there may be no GA seating at all as the match will be declared a 'fully ticketed event'.

Tickets to all events at the MCG are sold through Ticketek, the only authorised seller for any MCG event. The MCG has a total capacity of 100,024 (consisting of 95,000 seats and approximately 5000 standing room spaces). Most events allow for patrons to pre-purchase reserved seats to guarantee entry.
