MBT-70 was the name of a series of over-ambitious prototype tanks that were developped jointly by the USA and Germany in the 1960s. The project was abandonned in 1971 due to cost overruns and problems with the many new technologies used in the prototype tanks.

Here it is — the KPz(MBT)-70 tank. The model consists of 128K triangles (including the tracks), UVs are unwrapped on a single 4096 map, covering 89% of the UV space. Texel density is 5.251 px/cm (I know it’s not great, I promise the next model will be better).

The MBT-70 (or at least the American version) was designed with a smooth bore gun to accommodate both 152mm shells and Shillelagh anti tank missiles. Though now you mention it, since i bastardized it with two barrels, one can be rifled the other can remain smooth.
