Check if the paper sensor flag located inside tray 2 next to the roller is missing, damaged, or dislodged.

Nov 1, 2019 · you can check to see if that flag is in place. It sits just to the right of the feed rollers. Here is a pic of it, but the feed assembly is rotated 90 degrees, so the profile of the flag is a lot smaller if you remove the paper tray and are looking inside the printer.
