
Zastava M57 - Wikipedia
Designed in the mid-1950s, the M57 was an unlicensed copy of the Soviet TT-33 Tokarev. [3] The Yugoslav People's Army had initially attempted to adopt the TT as its standard service pistol after World War II, and a number were delivered by the Soviet Union. [3]

May 7, 2009 · There are a few differences I saw right off the bat. First off, as previously discussed, the grip is slightly longer. It holds one more round than the TT-33's. A standard TT-33 mag will not work in this pistol. I did try the m57 mag in the russian gun, and it does work, but sticks out slightly.

May 24, 2019 · The M57 does have the longer pistol grip, which gives you a nine round magazine, is more comfortable for larger hands, and holds an extra round, which are all pluses. On the other hand, while there are millions of TT-33, 8 round magazines, to be had, there are only a few hundred thousand (if that) of the M57 magazines were made.
