Jun 18, 2015 · This should net you a reliable 400bhp, although the 325 engine is not the best engine to turbo despite the bullshit on here, 328 m52 lumps have forged internals and much beefier rods compared to the m50 engines. All they need is Timeserts in the head to help prevent studs pulling out.

Already have m50 manifold fitted with mapped ecu for the manifold. Will that suffice? Sorry for all the questions Is your 323 turbo?? If so a pic of the engine bay would be awsome bud

I got it cheap because It has vanos rattle basically I 'll order tools and planing to replace vanos myself because thats kinda a big job and useful experience and tools to have.

Jun 7, 2012 · This whole 'M50 will be better for turboing' crap's really starting to get on my tits. If you read around outside of the UK there are plenty of places proving that, for the exact same set of mods (thicker headgasket and decent stud bolts) the 2.8 turbo charges better than the 2.5.

Oct 20, 2010 · the cost of transplanting in a 1jz, finding a decent gearbox then props etc would far outweigh putting a turbo on the 328. In theory you're transplanting a 2.5 turbo in place of a 2.8 turbo. With a turbo conversion you dont need to worry about getting engine mounts made as well.
