Stamped sheet steel construction, M35 style helmet with an embossed horizontal bead. Helmet retains a very large portion of the original dark blue satin finish to both the interior and exterior. Full decal in place to the front of the helmet, with approx. 95% of it remaining.

This helmet is a size 57 and has the original factory and has a US vet captured phrase in fountain pen on the inside liner the following two inscriptions "Luftschutz Air Shelter Helmet" and "Germany 1944". The liner system is complete and the original chinstrap is still present.
