Dec 17, 2024 · These are my two, the upper one is the Norinco, the lower is the SA M1A. I have a Norinco M350/M14S, going on over 20 years now. Bedded stock, nice trigger with lots of upgrade extras. Good, accurate and reliable rifle. I like it over my SA M1A for accuracy. I’ve seen them onGB for up to $1200, so $900 is a good price depending on condition.

Sep 1, 2010 · The single best thing I did to improve accuracy was get some match grade ammo. My SA NM M1A Loves Federal GM Match 168gr. I shot 20 rounds yesterday and averaged an honest .75 MOA at 100yds . Worst group was barely over an inch and best was half an inch. Same gun shoots 1.25 - 1.75 MOA with cheap ammo.

Dec 18, 2011 · Until around the late 1990s, the M1A produced by Springfield Armory retained the cutout in the rear right of the stock for the selector switch found on the M14. Springfield Armory has also omitted the "7.62-MM" caliber designator on the M1A receiver since 1991.

Nov 19, 2014 · Good afternoon everybody. Wondering if there might be any known characteristic's of Glenn Nelson built M1a's from early to mid 90's. I own one SM with paperwork (92) and about a year ago picked up one with similar silver/gray bedding and some of same bbl mark's. Both had been sold as receiver only. Just trying to obtain knowledge.

Of course the 16 inch barrel goes transonic the soonest, then the 18 inch, then 22. With each of these rifles, how far could a decent marksman hit a point target reliably?
