Mar 14, 2012 · I own an M1101. I towed the M101A3 home behind my truck, the M1101 was on a flat-bed. If you have a flat-bed, I'd recommend using that to recover the trailer, for the piece of mind. I switched out the HMMWV tires/wheels on the M1101 which lowered the bed about 4". Never tried to lower the M101A3. Good luck!

Jun 30, 2022 · The ONLY difference between the M1101 and the M1102 are the numbers on the dataplate. Otherwise everything was the same. It was done that way to prevent a soldier from connecting a heavily loaded trailer to a vehicle not rated for the weight.
