Sep 15, 2020 · Now It's Time to install M.2 SSD to M.2 Slot and I went straightforward to the toolbox picked the right tool and begin unscrewing the M.2 screw but that screw was so over-tightened that I can't even rotate that screw and in order to do so the screw got STRIPPED/Damaged. I am feeling so unhappy and so annoyed after this.

Mar 20, 2023 · Either type is meant to firmly slip onto the "rear" half-round notch of a M.2 stick, but their center screws are of two different sizes. Central in the plastic is a finely machined brass nut with a specially milled steel screw running through that. The notch in the plastic keeps the M.2 stick properly elevated above the motherboard.
