Nine boys form the Hikari Club, a group that slowly begins to resemble a twisted, fascist cult. In order to achieve their goals in punishing the adults that have stained their world they strive to build the ultimate Artificial Intelligence (later deemed Litchi/Lychee) in order to kidnap young girls.

The attractive leader of the club, Zera, is a twisted man polluting the minds of the club members to make them do whatever he pleases. Tamiya, the original founder of the club, wants to reclaim the club. Niko, the second in command, is pissed off at Jaibo, the one obsessed with Zera.

Lychee Light Club (Litchi Hikari Club) is a Manga adaptation of the Tokyo Grand Guignol production of the same name, detailing the story of a vaguely fascist-tinted club of nine middle school age boys in their endeavor to create life for their own purposes.

For the past year, the Hikari Club has been creating an intelligent humanlike robot which runs on the lychee fruit, for the purpose of kidnapping beautiful girls. However, when the robot—named "Litchi"—finally brings back a girl, the Hikari Club begins to fall into disarray.

Zera wants to know what everyone is willing to sacrifice for the club. The cramped town of Keiko-cho is stained black with factory exhaust and oil. Late one night, a piercing whistle echoes from some ruins in a seemingly empty corner of the town, accompanied by the eerie echoes of harsh words spoken in German.
