Love ya is way different than I love you... Way!! Had a stalker once cuz I said love YA, and then she was all stalking me and breaks into my house and wakes me up in the middle of the night, all "you said you love me" and I'm like I said "I love ya, love YA!!"

Nov 17, 2007 · Definitivamente el único que me escribe "luv ya" es mi novio. Between friends, English people go as far as calling you "mate" or maybe at the end of an email/letter you get a LOVE or LOTS OF LOVE. But with "luv ya" there is definitelly something going on. GOOD LUCK

I grew up this way too. Never hang up the phone before saying "I love you" cause you never know when you're going to see that person again. Lo and behold, "I love you" was the last thing I said to my mom before she hung up and had a heart attack a few hours later, and the last thing she said to me. It gave me solace while I was grieving.
