Original canvas is sound. Craquelure throughout, most noticable to the top half. One canvas stretched mark, running vertically approximately 1 inch from the upper edge. Ultraviolet light reveals some minor spots of cosmetic retouching to the figure's hair, dress and elsewhere. Held in an ornate, gold-painted, moulded plaster and wood frame.
