If anything, 5th edition has made clerics and champions more important to gods, because Ao has severely limited divinities from directly acting on the Realms, requiring the majority of interaction to be through clerics as well as signs and portents.

I'll agree that the Blood domain fits her if the GM allows it, Twilight is iffy, you might be better off homebrewing some sort of Darkness domain based off it that's about debuffing enemies rather than buffing and protecting allies.
