Apr 23, 2024 · In any event the beep code you mention is a power failure . The sequence you can try is. 1. Changing the Power Supply. 2. Changing the CPU. 3. Changing the system board. The stick started out in the slot furthest from the cpu, wouldn't boot, beeping, took out the ram, reseated it, booted up, went to restart, won't boot, beeping again, took ram out of that slot, installed in other slot, booted, redoing this again and again, each time reseating the ram.

Jan 21, 2019 · Immediately when I power one the unit it beeps. 3 long 3 short and repeats. I read other posts and saw that could be a seating issue. Removed ram and video card and reseated. Swap dimm slots. Tonight is the first time I've powered the unit on. Before I reseated it would eventually boot, now it won't.
