Mar 19, 2022 · Yes, it is. I’ve bought several apps from there in the past, including Little Snitch, Downie and VideoProc. If you buy apps totaling under 35$, five dollars are added to the total cost to “unlock the bundle”. If you buy apps totaling over 35$, you don’t pay the extra 5$. So, if you only buy Little Snitch, you will pay 29$ + 5$.

Oct 27, 2009 · It seems very simple compared to Little Snitch, however, seems to do a very similar job - - without some of the 'advanced' features. 2 things I miss already : - is the network monitor in the menu bar. With Little Snitch, you'd have a green bar for downstream and red bar for upstream , each with the data transfer speed as well.

It's the approach to the interface of Little Snitch I dislike the most. The never ending growing list of apps and services piling up in the Little Snitch Configuration. The newer Little Snitch 4 looks rather nice interface-wise.

Oct 30, 2020 · Little Snitch had just updated to 5 I think and I was trying to see if I needed to pay for it haha. LuLu works nice, but at least back then, it was not as configurable as Little Snitch was, it was more of a 'block everything' approach where Little Snitch can be fine tuned so to speak.

At the moment I have accepted 18 IP addresses. No one at Apple support (phone) can explain to me what "identityservicesd" means, or why I'm getting these Little Snitch alerts.

I remain extremely interested in using Little Snitch, but I fear that I lack the technical expertise to fully and properly implement and use it and may do more harm than good.
