Jan 17, 2023 · If you have problems filling your butane lighter there are a few possibilities for the cause. If you are filling an old lighter that hasn't been used in a long time then the seals may be broken. If this is the case the gas will escape the lighter as fast as you can fill it. It will leak all over the place and you won't be able to fill it.
