Lickitung (: ベロリンガ, : Beroringa) (LICK-it-tung[1]) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Lickitung is a pink, reptilian Pokémon with some white designs on its stomach, legs, and hands.

Bug Pokémon are Lickitung’s main food source. This Pokémon paralyzes its prey with a lick from its long tongue, then swallows the prey whole. If this Pokémon’s sticky saliva gets on you and you don’t clean it off, an intense itch will set in.

Lickitung, the Licking Pokémon and the pre-evolved form of Lickilicky. Lickitung's tongue has well-developed nerves that run to the very tip, so it can be deftly manipulated, often used as an arm. Lickitung's tongue is more than twice the length of it's body, being almost 2 meters long.
