The tasting was held at the premier French restaurant in Los Angeles, Mélisse, owned by Michelin two star Chef Josiah Citrin.

Domaine Leroy is a boutique winery based in the Cote de Nuits wine region of Burgundy, France. Behind the successful Domaine is Madame Lalou Bize Leroy, who founded the winery in 1988. She owns both Domaine d'Auvenay and Domaine Leroy. Lalou Bize also owns 25% of the famous Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.
