Jun 15, 2011 · Leki's got bent up a bit too but they were repaired for free by an outfitter who was a Leki dealer. The Komperdell's were good enough but if I were thinking about heavy duty or long distance hikes would go with the Leki's for the peace of mind.

Dec 3, 2014 · Leki felt the need to relieve me of my duties years ago. Never use lubricants of any kind. The pliers to loosen might work, but the issue is internal corrosion. Gun cleaning brush will help. Also, call Leki. They will help. 1800-255-9982

Nov 4, 2005 · The procedure I outlined above was what I was told to do by the guys at Rockfish Gap Outfitters specifically for Leki poles when I got a replacement segment for a pole I broke. The specific pole that I used the procedure on is the Leki Makalu from about 5 years ago.

Jun 1, 2017 · I had the Black Diamond Trail Ergo Cork poles and they were nice but I heard too many stories of their horrible customer service and warranty, I sold them before using them and bought a pair of Leki Corklite poles, Leki has a lifetime warranty on the aluminum poles if there is a shaft breakage, I've heard nothing but good about their customer service, especially from incidents while on trail ...

Jun 15, 2006 · I just bought a pair of LEKI's & can't figure out how to take off the basket,,, any clues? Take a hacksaw and measure 12 inches from the handle tip, make a clean cut, throw the bottom part away. I'm teasing, but the vegatation along the trail that gets ripped up because of the baskets thank you.

Apr 2, 2019 · Have some 12 year old Leki poles that I love but recently I noticed the grips were able to move, and I'm now able to twist them and remove them from the pole.

Jun 23, 2015 · To be fair, #4 was a vote for Leki, but they hadn't tried PacerPoles. I've been using PacerPoles for about 10 years now, and for the life of me cannot figure out why they haven't caught on more here in the US.
