Jul 1, 2022 · The rangefinder may carry out all the interpretation of this plot itself, as with these Leica Geovid Pro 32’s, or it may allow the user some degree of control. In theory, a rangefinder could also present the entire plot to the user for interpretation, though I am not aware of any models that do this.

As I understand it, mine was one of the first 5 built and brought into the US, so was not a pre-production, but earlier still in the process, more like a prototype.

Mar 25, 2003 · I lilke my 1200 Leica. I have had Bushnell 400's, 800,s and 1000 yard. The Bushnell 100 would range to 1640 yards after sunset, but on bright sunny days it would get 630 on nonreflective objects. The 1200 Leica do not do as well in bright sun as coudy days, but they always reach 800 yards. The optics are better on Leica.

Jul 30, 2023 · The best rangefinders I've used have all been Leica. They are the best at ranging pronhorn I've ever found. I've owned several Bushnell, Nikon, and Leupold LRFs, and the Leica were way better. Since I've been using Leica, I haven't considered others. I want to get a set of Geovids just to combne everything.

Feb 1, 2020 · Ok, had an opportunity to do a side by side today with the Sig 2400 abs and the Leica 3500.com. Two of us tested both free hand and stabilized. Our impressions were the same. 1. The leica was significantly faster to return the distance. It was immediate. 2. After 1000, the leica ran away with ranging.

Oct 4, 2008 · One thing to keep in mind is a rangefinder is just like a flashlight. Anytime something is in the air to obstruct it like rain or fog it will be less effective. also on bright days, like a flashlight, it wont work as well because the beam is saturated with other light. just my 2 pennies.
