Jun 9, 2008 · I grow Provence lavender here, in half day sun, in clay soil. I moved here, threw them in the ground, and they are thriving. Go figure. Lavender stoechas, however, needs full sun in my opinion. Gets good drainage, but half day sun and it is pitiful.
