The tests conducted on the LARC-XV-IX were divided into three main categories: static, performance in water, and performance on land. In addition, supplemental tests were conducted to determine (1) the LARC's dynamic stability, (2) the adequacy of the hydraulic system, (3) the degree of torsional vibration, and (4) the engine horsepower.
