Mar 31, 2025 · Hello, I have been using an Inland all in wonder for a bit now(but still new) and have saved up some money for a cabbing machine and a saw, while I found lots of info on various cabbing machines I have found little information on trim/slab saw units.
Super Glue Dopping - Screws instead of Nails

One of the other monitors at our lapidary club teaches newbies to start with nails and they quickly complain about how uncomfortable they are. I have switched to using the superglue with flat head wood screws and a short length of dowel as a handle.
Cutting lubricant for slab saws

Mar 31, 2025 · I use tin oxide. Seems to work best for all different types of stones. Here's a guide I use. INTRODUCTION 1. Many stones polish equally well with several buff and polishing compound combinations.
Unidentified saw with feed gear box issue - lapidaryforum.net
Mar 18, 2025 · Ok, I have an older lapidary saw 16" unknown brand. The rear has a small motor that is gear reduced to turn a belt that in turn drives the feed rod.... the motor has died and I am trying to see if anyone recognizes make of saw from rear pic and could possibly point me in the right direction for replacement gear box/ drive. Thanks Jb
