Lange Anna ("Tall Anna"), is a 47-metre-high (154 ft) sea stack of Buntsandstein in the North Sea island of Heligoland, Germany. Its local name is Nathurn Stak ("Northern Stack"). [ 1 ] Climbing the stack is not allowed but tourists may view the rock from a distance.

Anyone visiting Germany's only high seas island will marvel at Lange Anna in the far northwest. The spectacular rock island made of red sandstone is the top sight on Heligoland for many visitors. The Lange Anna has had the status of a natural monument since 1969.

A free standing monolit called Lange Anna is most impressing, and so is the birds living there. Boobies and guillemots are especially nice. It's a long trip but well worth it.
