Mar 21, 2021 · A land plane will move material but it will take more passes. The land plane is also easier for a new user to get comfortable with. Whichever way you go get scarifiers. With the info you have provided I'd say the land plane is probably going to work out better.

I would be using it to maintain a gravel driveway, probably twice a year, of about 600 feet long as well as general use to spread and level soil in preparation for seeding. I have found two good deals on new land planes: Frontier LP2054L at 45" wide and weight of 316lb.

Jun 26, 2019 · Hi all, my Deere dealer just dropped off my new land plane. I'm surprised at how large...and how nice it is. My tractor is a new 2025r, and the dealer suggested I go with a light weight 48" but I went with the heavy weight 60" and am glad I did. I was a little nervous how it would pull it when fully loaded, but my machine pulls it just fine.
