Though Internet is working fine as I use any browser but certain things like News app, Movies and TV app, Windows store etc. are showing 'No Internet' but they ran fine previously.

Things i tried so far: reset network in settings. reinstall drivers. rollback to 1709. troubleshooter for network. sc config netman type= own. system restore. cleanboot. set service WWAN to automatic. nothing helps - any body please help. regards Sebastian

May 18, 2017 · I have noticed that the network icon in the system tray changes from a wireless symbol to the Ethernet symbol when connected to a VPN (using a wireless adapter for network connection). This can get confusing but I did get use to it... until yesterday's update. Now, it does not change at all. Why does it not change to a VPN icon of some sort?

Jun 23, 2020 · The icon doesn't really match priority, Normally the Ethernet connection should override the Wifi one if its active. If you click on the Wifi symbol, does the Ethernet show as connected? Its more than likely you downloaded the Windows 10 2004 feature update which can change the way the operating system works.

Jan 25, 2016 · Hello, I have several PCs, spread across multiple environments all showing this same behavior. All are static IP on LAN connections. Occasionally upon a PC reboot, the yellow triangle of death shows over the network icon. When this happens some applications work, some do not. The only fix is to unplug the network cable, then plug it back in.
